Residential Trash

The Village of Caseyville is excited to announce a new contract for trash, recycling, and yard waste services! Beginning January 1, 2022, Republic Services will be the only residential trash service in Caseyville. The monthly per household rates that have been negotiated on behalf of all Village residents for the next five years are as follows:

The trash rate includes a 96-gallon cart. Smaller containers will be available as well as additional containers ($4 per month.) Residents 62 years of age or older may call Republic Services to request a 15% senior discount. Trash will be collected throughout the Village on MONDAYS of each week and should be placed curbside by 6 a.m. to avoid missed pickups. All trash must be bagged and fit within the cart provided.

Bulky waste with weight and/or volume greater than allowed for the trash cart may be be scheduled for separate pickup. Republic Services will collect one or two large items per month from each household.

Fully automated, single-stream recycling will be offered as an optional, bi-weekly service with a WEDNESDAY collection day. The rate includes a 96-gallon cart. If more than one container is needed, additional 96-gallon carts are available for $2 per month. Residents will have the option of choosing a smaller, 65-gallon cart. Instructions regarding acceptable and unacceptable materials will be provided.

Yard waste collection will be offered as an optional, weekly service from April 1st through December 31st, with a minimum three-month commitment and a maximum of eight units of yard waste per week. (A unit is one paper yard waste bag or 32-gallon container weighing less than 50 pounds each.)
