The Illinois Commerce Commission granted a significant rate increase to Illinois American Water effective January 1, 2023. Approximately half of the increase was passed along to Village of Caseyville water customers last year. This rate increase is the remainder.
The new rates are as follows:
- Village of Caseyville
- 2,000-gallon minimum $39.49
- 2,000-30,000 gallons $0.114 per 10 gallons
- over 32,000 gallons $0.108 per 10 gallons
- Outside of Village of Caseyville Corporate Limits
- 2,000-gallon minimum $49.52
- 2,000-30,000 gallons $0.130 per 10 gallons
- over 32,000 gallons $0.124 per 10 gallons
