The Illinois Commerce Commission granted a significant rate increase to Illinois American Water effective January 1, 2023. Please note that a portion of this increase will be passed on to Caseyville water customers as staff explores ways to mitigate the higher cost going forward.
The new rates are as follows:
- Village of Caseyville
- 2,000-gallon minimum $32.74
- 2,000-30,000 gallons $0.095 per 10 gallons
- over 32,000 gallons $0.090 per 10 gallons
- Outside of Village of Caseyville Corporate Limits
- 2,000-gallon minimum $41.06
- 2,000-30,000 gallons $0.109 per 10 gallons
- over 32,000 gallons $0.104 per 10 gallons
