DAMAGES FROM FLOODING

St. Clair County Emergency Management is in the process of conducting assessments of the damages related to the flooding event yesterday.  Any inquires about assistance, please call 2-1-1.  United Way has been tasked with being the repository of information and assessments and assistance will occur based on the information obtained.

Food Pantry available on the following days:

Tuesdays 9:30am – 12pm at 616 N 16th St.,  East St. Louis

Wednesdays 10pm – 4pm at 20 Glory Pl., Belleville

On these days individuals are assigned a number and allowed time to go through the isles and take what they need.

 

They also have a bulk food pantry.  Individuals can go by and get a box of food on the following days/times:

First Thursday of the month from 9am – 12pm at 616 N 16th St, East St. Louis

Last Friday of the month from 9am – 12pm at 20 Glory Pl, Belleville

 

If an individual is elderly or disabled, they can contact Nancy at (618) 980-3981 and she will try her best to get food to them.  Normally they deliver food the last week of the month, but if there is an emergency she will try to get food to them earlier.

 

They also provide lunches from 12pm – 1pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

 

They accept donations at the Belleville location Monday through Thursday.  Toilet paper, diapers, laundry soap are things they don’t often get.
